VIDEO ART

Moving image as an extension of photography — time, body, memory.

My video works emerge from photography and extend the photographic image into time. Rather than treating film as a separate medium, I use moving image as a way of exploring what happens to a photograph when it begins to breathe, change and carry memory.

NARCIS 2023 | Video art | 3’58” | Caravaggio project A meditation on desire, self-image and the fragile boundary between reality and illusion. The body becomes both a mirror and a mystery, caught between recognition and disappearance.
DARK 2020 | Video art | 2’20” A study of presence and absence, where the body dissolves into shadow and light. Movement becomes a trace of memory.
MERAMINDS 2026 | Video art | Photographic project A video art extension of a series of ten large-format photographs. The project translates still images into moving sequences, exploring the transition from photographic image to time, movement and cinematic space.
WELCOME TO HOME 2021 | Video art An exploration of home as a space of belonging, memory and isolation. Between intimacy and estrangement, the familiar becomes uncertain, revealing the fragile boundaries between inner and outer worlds.
Judith Beheading Holofernes 2023 | Video art | Caravaggio project A video art extension of an analogue photographic work created on 4 × 5-inch large-format film. The moving image develops Caravaggio’s dramatic composition through light, shadow and the tension between the human figure and the image.
DEATH OF THE VIRGIN 2023 | Video art | Caravaggio project A video art extension of an analogue photographic work created on 4 × 5-inch large-format film. The moving image develops Caravaggio’s dramatic composition through light, shadow and the tension between the human figure and the image.
